About Central Kansas Tees

Hey, y’all!

I’m Sarah Byarlay, the creator behind Central Kansas Tees. I’m a full-time high school English teacher and college instructor in Salina, Kansas—but I’ve been designing shirts long before this store existed.

I’m originally from South Texas, where school spirit runs deep and you show up loud for your people. My husband and I met while we were both serving in the U.S. Navy back in 2008, and our journey eventually brought us to settle down in his hometown of Salina, Kansas. Here, we built a life, a family, and finally achieved my lifelong goal of becoming a teacher.

For years, I was the person making shirts for every spirit day, game, fundraiser, and special event—just for friends, students, and teams. That changed in 2025 when the Salina Central High School football team won the 5A state championship. I designed a shirt people wanted, and demand quickly outgrew what I could produce in my limited “free” time. That’s when Central Kansas Tees was born.

This shop exists so you can get high-quality, meaningful designs without chasing someone down or waiting weeks—your shirts are printed and shipped directly to your door.

I design for:
- School spirit & athletics
- Community events
- Special occasions worth celebrating

Custom designs are always welcome. If you have an idea, reach out through the Contact Me page—if it matters to you, I’ll help bring it to life.

Education has always been at the center of who I am. I hold multiple degrees and I’m currently working toward my doctorate in education, but creativity is what fuels me. Central Kansas Tees is where those two worlds meet.

Thanks for supporting a small business rooted in community, pride, and showing up for what matters.

Celebrate Loudly. Wear Proudly.
